Ethel Maldonado Molina is a university professor of Functional Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Psychology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH). She also works as a private partner of the Comprehensive Center for Mental Health as a Technical Operational Manager. Ethel was a member of the first class of the Functional Therapy Career at UNAH graduating in 2000 with a Técnico Universitario en Terapia Funcional. As part of this technical degree, she trained at and later worked at Teletón, Tegucigalpa for 3 years before undertaking further study and work at the university. She received a Licenciada en Psicología (UNAH, 2012) and a Diplomado en Rehabilitación del Niño Quemado (UNAH 2012), and a Licenciada en Fisioterapia (2017, Universidad Autónoma de Santa Ana, El Salvador). In addition, she has received taken other courses in teaching and rehabilitation.
