Mel Wren has been doing medical mission work in Honduras since 1995. She started as a high school student and then went to college to be an occupational therapist. She received her degree in OT in 2002 and worked with patients who suffered hand injuries and neurological injuries. She has had experience in pediatrics, management, and received her MBA in 2007. She has taught at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the COTA program and at St. Louis College of Health Careers.
